Climate / Quality of the soil:

Ideal Mediterranean climate, the Paarl and Wellington mountains interrupt the wind flow capturing the winter rain / summer winds weather pattern. Soil types include Oakleaf and Tukulu granites, Fernwood sandstones and Glenrosa shales. This unique combination of terroir are ideal for the vines. The blocks are carefully manipulated for high concentrated flavour. Harvest in January at dawn to keep grapes cool for vinification. 


Wine composition:
Alcohol: 12 % , Total acidity: 6.3g/L , Residual sugar: 12.8g/L

Winemaker comments:
A lightly-bodied white wine with slight pear, peach and tropical tones. This wine was created to bring out the best of fruit and citrus flavours which are mirrored on the palate.


Food matches:
Serve slightly chilled with pasta, grilled fish or a creamy chicken dish.

Drinking temperature:
 
Best at a temperature between 10˚C and 12˚C.
